My husband does woodworking and used these snares in a drum that he made. Although he's good at woodworking he's not much of a musician so he wasn't up to making a video.

Poor craftsmanship. I bought these because of the high rating. Maybe I got a bad batch but these were cheaply made. Sharp weld beads can cut delicate snare side heads. Also it appears that the manufacturer tried to grind down to smooth edges but it just looks terrible. If you just need wires on your snare then go for it. If you trying to refurbish a vintage kit, like myself, then just spend a few extra bucks and get a quality product.
