Love this device. Makes everything super easy. The remote feels very cheap and recently stopped working.

I've been using one of these for several months now and it's been working flawlessly. I recently added two more on different TVs around the house and they also work fine. I particularly like that this unit has NO autoscan. It won't change inputs unless I change myself, which is perfect for my needs. I also like that the remote is better than most. Instead of those tiny flat remotes powered by button batteries, this thing has real buttons and uses AAA batteries.I only have one 4K TV but it's been working very well with this switch. I currently have a Roku, Onn Box, Amazon Fire Stick, Nvidia Shield, Xbox One, PS4 and a PC hooked up to it, all of which output 4K without any problems. My only gripe is a minor one, but I wish it had the ability to power off, it's just on all the time 24/7. Overall though, it's a great little switch and has really surpassed my expectations. I wish they offered it in a 16-port version.*update* I lowered my rating to three stars. Of my 3 switches, two of the remotes have failed. They just don't work anymore. The switches still work fine by using the button on the switches themselves, but it's a annoying as they aren't located in easy to reach places. I ordered a cheap universal learning remote which I hope can learn the IR codes from my remaining remote before it too dies.

Got the switcher set up easily, seemed to switch between all my video consoles fine (PS5, Wii U, Switch, Analogue Pocket, Xbox Series X, PS3 and Xbox 360). Most of the time I play on my PS5, same goes with streaming, I usually use my PS5. Shortly after setting up the switcher, while playing a game or streaming, I noticed the picture would go black for 1 second or two randomly when using my PS5, then it would go back to showing the video output. It was annoying but very sporadic, at first...Then one day i turned on my PS5 and it was only showing black (btw NOT the typical "no signal" screen that my tv will show when no output is detected). Tried other consoles and they showed up fine. I tried switching the port my PS5 was plugged into to another port, still the same issue. Then I tried another HDMI cable in the same port AND other ports in the switcher. Same issue, black screen. At first I though my PS5 died, but I tried it directly to the tv and it worked fine. Then I tested different output settings in the PS5 video output settings (it. no 4k, no HDR, no VRR, etc etc). Same thing no matter what, even just in high definition. It wasn't a specific port gone bad in the switcher, it wasn't a specific setting or cable. It just did not like what the PS5 was outputting. Seeing that this is my most used console, I returned it. So if you plan on hooking up a PS5 to this thing, beware...

Everything these days uses HDMI. And in modern times, people usually have multiple devices. For some ungodly reason, most TV manufacturers went from tons of ports down to only 1 or 2 HDMI ports. The TV manufacturers brain-fart is happily remedied with this very good product. For the most part, it's also tolerably priced.1 quirk... My 4K Roku Ultra, which is hooked to my 1080p Samsung TV tends to lose the video signal every few Roku restarts, forcing me to change HDMI switch input and TV input and then switch back before it resends the device signal. Doesn't have a problem with any other device in my house and we have 4 of these.

I read many of the reviews here before ordering this and I got skeptical first regarding some issues some users mentioned having with it when it comes to not always recognizing all the devices connected to it and that they had to restart it and since it doesn’t have an on/off power button they had to unplug it for a few seconds. Well, first of all in my circumstances it worked like a charm without any compatibility issues with the peripheral devices connected to it. Secondly and for the event in which I might need to have it restarted by turning it on and off I worked around it’s lack of power button by connecting its adapter to a wireless plug switch with a remote control so I don’t have to get up and unplug/replug manually when it’s needed. Other than that little shortcoming in its design it works as promised and with no detectable quality loss in any of the devices I connected to it. Good value for the price

This is a great selector, especially considering how many ports it has, the 4k capabilities, and the price. My old tv died and I had to buy a new one, which caused me to re-evaluate my cabling. My cables are run behind the wall and I wanted to reduce how many were run back there. I have quite a few devices hooked up to my tv (soundbar w/ subwoofer, apple tv, bluray player, xbox, gamecube, and ps2) so I purchased this selector with the intention of running everything through that and then up to my tv (along with two RCA to HDMI adapters for the gamecube and ps2). This worked as intended and it is easy to switch between the inputs with the remote. It always powers on to input 1 so I put my most heavily used device in that one (the apple tv). I have no complaints or negatives about his product.

Can't find too many switches of this capacity so my expectations were low due to the price, but it delivers in spades. Picture quality is far better than another switch I had (4 ports); didn't even know how bad it was till I used this one.Pro: -Lots of ports -All ports in the back, unlike many switches having one in front or the side -Great picture quality (using for 1080P; can't comment on 4k)Cons: - Remote really does suck. Many unused buttons, but at least there are enough numbers to go directly to the port you want. This should also resolve the Nintendo Switch trying to take over other sources, which is a PITA. - Does not auto switch (could be a Pro if the Switch likes overtaking your source sometimes).
