Easy to install, sturdy and like the retractable screen. The length was perfect for our use on a covered porch that opened to pool area. Not used as a primary access guard, buts add an additional layer of safety.

The gate is good overall. Great height for large dogs. If you have a smaller dog like a corgi I think they could wiggle under. I have an American Eskimo, bloodhound, and Aussie and they can't get under or go over. The stitching on the supporting pole did come out after about 2 weeks which means I will need to remove it or sew it back. Until I fix it the sturdiness is a bit compromised. But since it is easy to use, looks good, functions as intended I will give it 4/5 stars. I would still recommend it to others as is.

Using this as the wall of a space that I keep plants in for the winter. My cats have tried and failed to break through to get to the plants. It's a win-win.

This is awesome! Built well! Wish I had this when my kids were small! Bought this to use for my garage so my dog can chill with us while we are working outside or hanging out in the garage. Awesome purchase! Disconnects easy for weather if using outside like I am!

This retractable baby gate is seriously durable—it’s keeping my cats out of certain parts of my basement, so it’s already winning in my book! Once it’s installed, it works like a charm, and the gate feels sturdy and secure.However, the installation process was a journey. Screwing into concrete was a nightmare, and the included concrete anchors? Let’s just say they didn’t work as hoped. The recommended bit size made them scrunch up when hammering them in. After a lot of trial and error (and a few choice words), we finally got it secured, and it’s been smooth sailing since.My only other nitpick is that the retracting mechanism could be smoother. It works, but it’s not as seamless as I’d hoped—it takes a bit of coaxing to roll it back in.Overall, if you’re looking for a tough gate that’ll keep pets (or babies) where they belong, this is a great option. Just bring some patience and better tools if you’re dealing with concrete!

We put this up to block our dog in the kitchen when we weren’t home so that our other dog could also be out and our dog immediately was able to slip under it even though we had it taught and locked. Not a bad price for the product but definitely doesn’t work as it should in that regard. Might be better for someone with a small dog as our dog is 76 pounds and a giant schnauzer.
