Really nice little gate.

As with anything, make sure you've measured the space you're working with to make sure your product will fit without being too big or small. In my case, I needed a dog barrier for our "sitting room" which has a 6.5' (2 meter) doorless opening. Our barrier has six sections. The two end ones run parallel to the walls on either side of the door. The other four sections are zig-zagged to provide support. Our dogs aren't jumpers, so this was sufficient to keep them out, so it works great for us!I attached the little "feet" stubs to provide more stability. These stubs have a very coarse, sandpaper-like finish on the bottom to make them resist sliding, but can also dull your floor's finish over time, so be aware of that. I can probably take them off and not worry about the thing falling down unless it gets moved quite a bit.Note in other reviews people caution about using it outside; it's going to rust if it gets wet. For our indoor use, it's been in place for several months and still looks brand new.

Solved our problem! Our bedroom door has no way to lock due to its design. We keep our cats out of the bedroom at night since they are (no surprise) nocturnal! Playtime is great for them at 2 AM. To avoid the body slamming into the doors and general disruption of sleep, we needed a physical barrier. This gate is high enough when placed about 8" away from the doors to keep them from jumping over at night. The bars are narrow enough that they can't squeeze through either. It's very easy to move out of the way when we need to, which isn't often. A three panel would have worked, but this 4 panel is very sturdy as we have set it up. Now, how to keep the meowing to enter the bedroom at 4:30 am...haven't solved that yet:)

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, however I installed felt furniture pads on the bottom to keep it from scratching our flooring and to stabilize it better. When stretched out straight it tends to lean to one side, and if you mount the brackets to a wall you cannot use the top mounting screw or the pin will not go through the mounts on the fence as there needs to be a little more spacing or use a flatter headed screw. It seems to be well-built, is easy to manipulate, and has some heft to it.

Sturdy, and great quality! Has accessories for mounting, but so far it has worked great as free standing around our wood burning stove.

Looks beautiful and really works! I put this at the end of my newly remodeled deck to contain my large puppy and keep other animals out. Have used it about a week and it has changed my life. My pup enjoys her time on the 80 foot deck and her pal with the muddy feet stays off. It was very easy to assemble and set up and looks very nice. It has withstood snow and single digit temps so far.

I got this to provide an area for my dogs to pee at my new condo. The first one I got broke, it says it able to be folded up but it was so much folding and the brackets broke. (Brackets??? I don't know the jargon)The new one I leave up the only and my young kids can open it. I'm just worried its already rusting but I don't think its meant for permanent outside use.

Sturdy gate, easy to use. Love the feet and the dual hinges so you can easily make it zig zag or a circle.
