Fits perfectly. The cheap LCD screen is a little bit old fashioned. The mower should have come with it.

Says low batt when the battery is at 12.6 volts. There is a sticker that covers the panel right over the top of a snapped in cover for the opening where this meter sits. In order to get the cover out you have to cut the sticker and the meter is smaller than the cover so it doesn't cover up the cut edges and the yellow from the metal can be seen. It looks terrible. Make the face of the meter larger then the original cover or provide a replacement sticker for the entire panel that has the proper size hole already pre cut.

Pros:- Total Install: (10) Minutes.- Cub Cadet XT1 has a precut Insert installed below Steering Wheel. Meter mounts perfectly after Plate is removed.- Cub Cadet XT1 also has preinstalled Factory Wiring Harness below Plate that matches Meter's Connector.- Recommend disconnecting Positive Battery Lead before connecting Wiring Harness.Cons:- Meter was not marked with "UP" Orientation and is somewhat difficult to remove without breaking Mounting Tabs.- Recommend turning Ignition to "Power" without starting Motor after reconnecting Battery to check orientation before mounting.- Instructions Sheet detailing Maintenance Codes is very small and easily lost.- Recommend saving a Picture of Instructions Sheet or Scanning for your Records.

This hour gauge is a direct fit for my ZT1 50” mower. It is easy to install, wire harness is already tucked away in your mower and snaps right in to the meter. The only thing I wish they would have included would be a new sticker with a hole cut out for the meter. The old one is hard to reuse after removing the plastic filler blank that comes with the mower.
