These wheels work pretty good. They don't take off material as fast as you think they would. I was being careful at first as i thought it would be more aggressive, and that's okay because you can easily shape a piece of wood without the wheel grabbing and digging in. I got a dust collection shroud for my grinder that was made for grinding concrete, for which it would work fine, but it doesn't work that well for grinding wood. You just can't see the piece of wood and it doesn't pick up much sawdust because the bottom is open. They fit my grinder which is a Metabo HPT (hitachi power tools).

I was very pleased with the product and tried them for the first time on a tree stump i am carving a sculpture from. Very durable. Recommend the product for sure.

I'm a vine member, which means I get products at reduced or no cost. In return for honest evaluation and reviews of products.This is one of those reviews.I'm an artist, and lately I've been getting into woodworking, or rather I guess working with wood.Power carving seems like an interesting thing so I wanted to try it out, This disc fits my old Craftsmen Pro angle grinder just fine, the size keeps it inside of the standard guard.For those who don't know these discs a really just rotary rasps, the teeth are cut the same was as rasp file teeth.What really sets these discs apart from each other is going to be what metal the disc is made from and how it's hardened and treated.I've not had a chance to us this on any hardwoods yet, only soft wood, plywoods and some green soft wood stumps, but so far it looks like this will work for what I need it to do.
