The stand is Ok. Metal construction, and reasonably sturdy, if a little light weight. It does the job, but really nothing more.The generic brown box that mine came in was made of thin card and arrived very crushed. Thankfully the stand itself wasn't damaged, but there were no instructions of paperwork of any kind in the box, let alone any branding or hint of a manufacturer. This really wasn't a great first impression, and I personally wouldn't get another one.But it does the job, and it holds the microphone. I think it offers reasonable value for money, but I would still recommend paying a little extra to be a bit more sure of what you're getting.

This thing sucks and lasted me only twice, flops around everywhere and was a waste of money. It doesnt swivel the way i want it to either and if i try all the bands go loose .. i dont understand if its meant for my mic

Microphone stand is sturdy and well balanced even though I have a heavy condenser mike on it. The stand is also low profile so it doesn't taker up a lot of space. Perfect for a desk top or as a portable stand when you're on the road. Great product.

.I'm very disappointed with how lightweight this stand is. It's far too light for the AT2020 mic and tips over with the slightest pressure. No matter how much I tried to tighten the mic on the arm, it kept spinning and wouldn't stay in place. There were also no instructions for fitting the mic into the shock cage. Overall, I'm frustrated that this is the recommended desktop mic stand for the AT2020.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the microphone to sit correctly in the holder. The strings that hold it together, just wouldn't cooperate. I eventually used the bottom of the stand with my old Mic attachment to get it to work.
