I had hope this would do the job. But months after it was sprayed, it cracked, water got through and over time within a year rust stains were leaking through. Now I have to strip it off and start over.It got a 2 star because it does spray well and adhere well, just durability sucks.

This stuff works great and is easy to work with. I just finished spraying a hitch mounted cargo carrier for my van. It was aluminum, which I spent about an hour with a wire wheel getting all the old corrosion off and making cross-hatch lines for the bed liner to stick to. The cans seem to spray more heavily in a line (vertically), and not as much in a circular pattern like most aerosol cans. I used 4.5 cans on this cargo carrier, which is about double what I expected. Perhaps because it was silver (aluminum) before, and I needed to completely cover every spot or it was obvious. And there were a lot of parts/holes/slats to it. I still have my front & rear bumper and cargo box to do. Kinda expensive. I think I'm going to have to order another 6-pack...
