Awesome fin! I use it on my 8 foot Walden. Carves the bigger waves here in The Big Island. I tried the plastic ones but they flex to much in bigger surf. Randy

I almost didn't buy this fin after reading many reviews that said the fin needed sanding to fit in the fin box. This is BS. My new fin dropped nicely into my Fanatic Allwave and SIC FX boxes. No sanding, no excess play. It fit perfectly and looks great. Buy one--or two for the price of one "name brand".

Better build quality than futures! I’ve got two of these and they are straight as an arrow, can’t say that about futures. For the sale price I don’t think you can beat them.

I bought two of these an 8 inch and the 9 inch. They look well-made and they look true. I give it five stars for the quality of it for the price. They are resin with Honeycomb core, not plastic. A similar FCS would be almost twice the money. I did have to sand it a little bit to get it in my FCS box but I used an orbital sander and it was pretty quick. I did not have to sand it too much. Just to help out a fellow surfer the area of the 8 inch looks almost identical to the area of the 9 inch. The 8 inch has a little bit longer base and then is raked back a little further.
