This exactly meets our needs.We can monitor the temperature and humidity of my first and second kids easily.Texts are large, so it is also readible by small kids.Love it!

I love being able to tell at a glance what the temperature is in different areas in and around my house. The base is in the living room. One is in my bedroom, which also lets me make sure my Alexa routines are working to turn the heater on and off at night. Another is out on my deck, in a corner of the house so it's out of the sun and most of the weather (these are not rated as weatherproof). And the other is on the other side of the house. Weirdly, it is often several degrees difference between one side of my house and the other. But, knowing both helps me get a "feel" for what it's really like outside.These synced up pretty quickly, and are within a reasonable amount of variance. I put another thermometer next to it, and they all seem to basically agree. The picture I've included was around the first hour after I had them syncing. They got even better, but for some reason I didn't take a picture. (sigh.) I haven't used any of the memory features, so I can't speak to any of that. But just being able to do what it does for me, I think the value is very reasonable. Super glad I got these.Be aware: they do not provide batteries. The base takes three, and each satellite takes two, so 9 AAA batteries initially. I wish there was a plug-in option for the base, but alas, no. That is where the loss of star comes in, because I will have to keep feeding batteries. (and also, why does an indoor/outdoor thermometer not have weatherproof sensors?)

This thermometer set has made it so easy for me to track the temperature throughout the house and to monitor which floor/area is getting the least heat. The display makes it super easy to quickly read and compare all of the temperatures at once. I'd definitely recommend this to others.

I bought this primarily to use in my office. The mini split heat pump we have does not always keep the temp at what we have it set on. So, with this I can keep the main unit in my living room and put one of the remote sensors in the office so that I am able to see what the temperature is at all times. Since it comes with 3 remote sensors, I put one outside, one in my bedroom, the other in my office and the main unit in my living room. I am very impressed with how accurate it keeps the readings. It also shows you what the humidity is and I think that's a plus as well. I am very pleased with this purchase and would definitely buy it again. I would also recommend to friends and family if they were looking for something like this.

I followed the instructions and inserted the batteries on the transmitters first, then on the base. After waiting 3 minutes or so, I was still not getting any data from any of the transmitters. I performed a channel search by pressing the button on the back of the base. I did that for all the transmitters and within a minute or so the information finally pulled up.It takes about a half an hour for the transmitter to acclimate themselves and display the accurate temperature and humidity in their new surroundings. All the information seems very accurate from the devices, when I'm comparing to my current thermometers and hygrometers that I have.The transmitters had no issues broadcasting to my receiver. I put the transmitter in the back of my garage and then put the receiver in my basement on the opposite side of the house, which is about 80 to 90 ft distance, and going through 3 cinder block walls, a brick wall and one floor level and it updated without any issues.You will need nine AAA batteries to use the base and the three transmitters. They were not included. According to the manual the sensors are not water resistant so it's good to put them in a well-protected area if you are using them outside. No hardware is given to hang the sensors.I would give this four and a half stars but I will put four down because they didn't give the hardware to hang the receivers. A couple zip ties or proper size nails would have been nice instead of having me fish around for it.This is a very good device at this price point. I will be keeping one of the transmitters outside on my porch from now on. If it fails on me within a year, I will update this review.
