The price was right and solved my check engine light problem. I have read that some BMWs require using the old wiring harness, but that must be for older BMWs; mine is a 2016 and was a direct replacement.

Decided to give this a try on my f56 mini and it worked. Check engine light is off hopefully for good. Didn’t have to swap the plug either

Mercedes dealership sells this part for $900. I bought it here on Amazon for $104. Great product and I'm still very happy.

Original temperature sensor was accidentally damaged while the old leaking radiator was being replaced. So I had to get a replacement and so far so good. The job was done three months ago.

With a 15-year-old beloved E90, I knew it only amount of time before the radiator needed to be replaced. When the time actually came, I discovered that my E-90 was a SULEV (N91), I learned that I could either buy the $700 BMW radiator which came with the sensor attached, or by a CSF 3718 radiator for $115, but would then have to deal with getting hold of the special “EAC” sensor that BMW does not sell separately. They make it sound so fancy and mysterious, but I believe it’s really just a temperature sensor. If you’ve googled, you’ve surely come across that to take the Mercedes sensor and swap the pins to make it the same as the BMW sensor. I can confirm that this definitely works using this sensor! You just need to follow the videos carefully and not be scared of removing the pins and reusing the plug from your old radiator sensor. That takes a $700 project down to being a $250 project (Assuming of course, that you enjoy the DIY part of this… If you don’t actually get a kick out of doing this stuff, you should probably buy the BMW OEM one or have mechanic take care of the whole thing and pay them $1500),

The connector needs to be switched in order to use this on a BMW. That's expected and there are plenty of YouTube videos which illustrate how to do this.Sensor works perfectly otherwise!
I will tell it !!!

It work as it should be but I had to use all one harness from a broken sensor to make it work because is recommended for Mercedes Benz and not for BMWs it's fine because mine still was in good shape.
