A very simple product but it met my expectations and is simply the best low cost option to repair vinyl siding I came across. I applied this to patch to cover a whole in my siding 10 months ago. It's gone through a Summer, Fall, and Winter in the Midwest (Missouri) so it's endured 103-degree heat and -5-degree winters, snow, ice, tornado like winds, 15 straight days of rain, and this product has held up through it all without any signs of wear and tear. Since it comes in white, you will need to paint it to blend in. Phenomenal value for a basic product which will save you a ton of money on home repairs if you delay using it!

These things are very thin. You’re better off buying duct tape color matched

Based on previous reviews, I was very concerned with purchasing this product and whether the patches would hold up well in mid-west humidity and what seems to be constant thunderstorms. Prior to applying the 1st stage vinyl patch I cleaned the area with alcohol spray and dried it with paper towels. I then let the area further air dry for approximately 15 minutes. I then applied the 2nd stage patch. It’s only been 2-months, but between the constant humidity (especially how wet it is in the morning) and multiple sever thunderstorms this year, the patches have held-up extremely well. I fully expect the need to replace the patches, but these have far surpassed my expectations based on previous reviews.

The patches work well. It would be nice to have thicker sheets for a sturdier repair. I realize that the edges would show more but I would make that trade off. They been in place for a month and so far they are holding up well.

Ordered & used twice and works just fine on vinyl siding but here's the recommendations: 1) The smaller round "center" reinforcement pieces need to be the same size as the patches so that you may trim them to the needed size for the larger patches. 2) Add the description on the back side by printing "patch" or "reinforcement" on the pieces as if you cut the pieces down, you have no idea which is which because they are both white. 3) Include instructions that explain you should lightly sand around the edge of the patch once it is on to smooth down the edges for a smooth appearance pior to painting over it to match your siding.

I wish I could show you pitchers of before and after . So simple to do my grandmother could do it . I've seen thing's that say they can restore damaged objects but this really does but you really need to get the paint close to say what damage . Thank's my siding is truly fixed until someone showers my siding with rock's while mowing .

Spend the extra money and purchase this unit. The two stage process makes for a better patch. The hard part is getting a good paint match.

It's basically tape that takes paint and has strong adhesive. It is not at all firm, so if there is warping on the siding from the damage it will crinkle the patch. Likewise, anything larger than a small hole might leave a ripple no matter how careful you are. The latter is much less noticeable from a distance than the former. It's possible some processing of the hole, ie cutting it out cleaner, might mitigate the crinkling due to warping, but the larger the hole the more rippled the patch will be and you'll have to do a clean job.All in all, if you have a small hole (1.5" sq or diameter) and are able to match the paint this will work well. A little bigger might be ok depending on warping and the nature of the hole. Take a piece of broken siding to the store and they will match your paint perfectly.

I noticed a couple of small poke holes in my siding and didn’t want to replace a whole piece. This kit is the perfect solution. It came with not one but 4 patches with 4 center reinforcement patches. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the area and then cut the patches to be slightly smaller, mixed up a bit of paint and voila! Looks perfect. An added bonus is MADE IN THE USA and they also sent a set of indoor wall patches for nail holes etc.Highly recommend!
