Thinking about it, it would be great if this had a female type C port for the output, that way you would be able to use varying length cables to accommodate the situation. Otherwise this is great and with a coupler or a type C extender you can have Ethernet to your device while it is charging and that is great.

Hooked up to a CCwGTV, using the SDCard slot and Eth plug, powered by a 12W Apple charge brick I had in a drawer. Works perfectly.

We got 2 of these for our 2 Chromecast with Google TVs. We also hooked them up with a more powerful power supply too, just in case. These kick the pants off the previous ones we tried which would drop out ethernet & the SD card slot constantly.The ethernet (wired) connection is reliable and fast. The SD card slot allowed us to expand the app storage space on our device. We no longer get the "Out of space issue" from the 4GB of space our CCwGTV always gives us.I loaded up the SD card with ROMs, hooked up a USB controller, and now I can play roms & emulators without any Bluetooth lag.We also setup a webcam and can now use our TV with video calls with friends and family.

As soon as hub plug in to my MacBook Pro M1, it gets very hot even without using power supply nor any device attach to this hub.Other than this, this item function as it is designed to do.

I bought this USB-C Multifunction adapter 3 months ago and I m really impressed with the product. Earlier I was afraid if it will get heated during use for longer hours but it works very well.It has enough space to plug in multiple wires at same time .Also it has WLAN port . It makes my workstation little less messy now .I like the colour also plus it’s budget friendly.

Use it with my Dell XPS 13. Gives me USB A ports, wired ethernet (1Gbps, some cheaper alternatives are only 100Mbps), an HDMI out and even power. The laptop claims the power supply is a bit low but it still works fine. Excellent for the money.

Acheté pour utiliser Stadia sur mon Chromecast TV, ce HUB USB-C fait très bien son travail. Il charge les appareils, fini le Wifi et bonjour l'ethernet, un ensemble clavier/souris sans-fil connecté et 64GO en carte SD pour augmenter la capacité de stockage d'origine. Bref ce produit me satisfait pour mon usage et je le recommande.

Look elsewhere and get at least 1 year warranty! Bummer, as soon the port gets a burst of data it disconnects. Past return deadline. Looking into tech support. Using this on a MacBook Air 2020 with Big Sur. Tested everybody- all good. Only issue is that the SD card slots are very tight.
