The first thing I noticed was that this thing was made of metal. Lots of inexpensive readers like this are plastic painted to look like metal or thinly wrapped with a tin-like metal. It's not anything special like solid aluminum, but it has a good weight and feels very sturdy. It also works fast and didn't need any extra setup on Windows 11 to use for Windows Hello.This is a great product, and I would highly recommend it.

No instruction. They listed several sites to go to for download of software, none of them worked for the item I had. A complete waste of money, never worked.

Plug and play. Literally plugged in to Windows 11 laptop, took 6 swipes I believe to read fingerprint (never missed) for it, NO extra drivers needed (just go to System and set up fingerprint there), and not once missed my fingerprint once completed. Also recognizes must faster than my installed fingerprint reader on my old Dell. Great price!

Works fine with LG Gram 17" laptop. I'm using Windows 11. You may have to go inside settings and make some adjustments. There are some videos that you can find that will walk you through the steps to accomplish this. I can use it like a built in fingerprint reader and also log in the computer with it. Also it feels like its made out of metal.

I received this a couple of days ago, right within Amazon's expected delivery window estimate. I might not have gotten this one, if I had known it was coming from overseas. (Nothing to do with this company - just previous issues with international deliveries).I bought this because it's a hassle to constantly keep typing in my passwords, and it works beautifully for that purpose. Setup was a breeze - just plug it in, run Windows update for the drivers, and scan my fingerprints - all of which is explained in their user guide.A few times, it has had trouble reading my fingerprint, but no more than any other fingerprint reader I used.Overall, I highly recommend this product. It saves time and I no longer need to remember so many passwords.
