It's great that is works with both 3.3VDC and 5VDC as devices may use either voltage. I've use it already at 3.3VDC flashing my Sonoff S31 to Tasmota and my next application requires 5VDC. I use it at the end of a 24 USB extension to get it up to my work bench location.

I purchased it to repair my Kindle Voyage, as Kindle's UART works on 1.8v TTL.Compare with my other serial adapters, this one does NOT require any driver on my M1 MBP running macOS Big Sur.BTW, my Kindle is fixed successfully, and the correct serial setting is 115200/N/8/1
