In generl the quality of this is great, it's well made and designed outside of the sizing chart not being correct. I ordered one size up from what was suggested and its pretty tight to where it's not very comfortable thus the 3 stars.It's deep black color is nice and feels like it'll hold up well to different kinds of treatment and not fade.General value is great and I'd highly suggest this to anyone with again the note to get two sizes up from my experience.

I love a good kilt. This is my 4th kilt, but first utility kilt. This kilt has snap, rather than the buckles that I'm used to. The snaps work quite well, and each strap has two snaps. (8 snaps hold the waist) The snaps are set roughly an inch apart, thus the waist can be adjusted an inch at a time. You have three "settings" of size adjustment.The length is great too. I'm 6 feet tall with a 42" true waist. The 42":: kilt fits perffect in the waist, and the length is actually a litttle bit long. The bottom of the kilt rests below my kneecap. So if you're a taller guy, no worries about exposure.Of course, the very best part is the pockets!! The kilt has two pockets that close with snaps. Pockets are never appreciated until you don't have them..This is a great modern kilt. I love it!
