Easy Operation:
Step 1: Solder the IC socket to the PCB circuit board.
Step 2: Insert the chip into the IC socket, finish.
The IC socket is the carrier between the chip and the PCB circuit board, the chip can be pulled and inserted directly without soldering to the PCB board.
Noted:
The spacing and line spacing of the connector holes must be the same as the spacing and line spacing of the chip pins.
Advantage:
When you need to install or replace the chip, directly remove the connection between the IC socket and chip, achieving the effect of saving IC cost and time.

The fit and finish looked good, just make sure you fit round pinned ICs to this adapter. I made the mistake of trying to use this chip socket adapter with a flat pinned IC. Remember the adage that you shouldn't try to fit a square peg in a round hole.....well it was a fight to fit the flat pins in to the holes.
