When supplying it with 12V it draws .6A, and I can easily pull it off metal. Probably closer to 25N.

Wichtige Info für alle, die den E-Magneten als Türaufhalter einsetzen möchten. Einfach nur ein 5-6Volt, anstatt der angegebenen 12V, Netzteil verwenden, dann bleibt derMagnet auch im Dauerbetrieb kühl und hat auch ausreichend Kraft.

This magnet is WEAK. Im very disapointed in this item. It is a weak magnet, useless for anything but picking up paper clips (4 paper clips conected to eachother)

I bought the 12v 250 Newton version. Convert that to pounds, and its supposed to require around 50+ lbs pulling force. But I can very easily break the bond. It will hold a large hammer, but not two. I recon the power is more like 5 pounds, about 20 Newtons, max.

yes it gets hot fairly quick but that's ok. You can put quite a bit more current through it to get more mag force but it gets hot quicker.

Used this to demonstrate the concept of how noise travels faster than a speeding arrow. I used a washer with a water balloon tied to it along with an Arduino and sound sensor to deactivate the magnet and drop the balloon. Plenty of power with 12.5 ohms of resistance in series with it.

On est tés loin des 25kg promis, je pense qu'il ne lève même pas 3kg et en plus il chauffe énormément au point qu'au bout des quelques minutes impossible de le toucher sans se bruler.Je déconseiller fortement
