How to Use Twist Drill Bits:

Observe the uniformity of the spark while drilling, adjust the pressure in time, and pay attention to the cooling of the bit.

It's an OK drill bit, cuts decent, very reasonable price. Many 1.6mm bits I looked at were actually 1/16"....close but a little smaller.

easily drilled through 3/4" aluminum bar; driven at 600 RPM with intermittent applications of oil, this bit easily provided the required diameter hole for making a jig. 1st bit in my collection to successfully enter, & exit a 0.75" chunk of aluminum intact.
