It works great, a little dramatic when powered on(it slams open), and has a slight hum to it. But as long as you don’t mind that it’s great. I use it to open the intake vent for my greenhouse and have it wired to the exhaust fan so when the fan comes on at a set temperature the solenoid open the vent with a satisfying clunk sound. I’ve had it in my greenhouse for a few weeks now and has worked great. I have noticed that it get warm when powered for extended periods but with the cool air being pulled in by it, it never gets too hot.
