The color coating seems to be very uniform.These screws are slightly longer than the screws that came with my case (maybe by 0.125 inches). Original screws had maybe 1 or 2 threads. These have at least 3 or 4 threads (better gripping power). Length wasn't an issue with the drives I have. One needs to be careful depending on the drive used.

I used these for a used Asustor 4-bay NAS that didn't come with drive mounting screws. They work great, nice and flush for my application.

Picked up a used disk shelf and ran out of the properly sized screws for mounting. Work well and don't get caught on the sides of the hot swap bays.

Purchased uxcell Computer PC Case 3.5" HDD 6#-32 Flat Phillips Head to use in my 12th gen Dell Poweredge 3.5" Sleds. I have had trouble finding ones that are low enough to clear the tight tolerance in this server. These fit perfectly. Some reviews mention clearance issues and stripping but I did not experience these issues.

Needed these for an IcyDock drive tray - allowed me to mount all three hard drives in their trays and install into the server.Hard to get excited about screws but these do the job! Would purchase again but I'll never run out with my 200 pcs...

A lot of NAS and DAS units allow very little space and tolerance for screws to hang out at all. These screws are well-made, work in every 3.5" drive I've thrown at them and worked in all my NAS and DAS units including my fussy DS-4246. For the price, you can't beat the quality and use for the appliation.

I wanted to install hard drive in my server and bought these. They work perfectly as in server it had very less space on side of caddy for screws. They are very low profile so worked perfect. Highly recommend if you want to use with server caddy's.

Went to install a third HHD to my desktop system and noticed that the mount did not have the mounting screws. Pulled my other HDD from the mounting plate and it only had 2 screws holding it, so I could not steal steal any for the new drive. Found these Uxcell screws and ordered them as the price was right. Once I received them, installed the new drive and added 2 screws to the original drive mount and they work perfectly. I would purchase these again, but being that I still have 194 screws remaining, I doubt that I'll need to anytime soon.
