Did what it advertised. Tested power draw too500ma @ 3v and scaled approximately linearly with voltage, so 6v drew ~950ma and 1v drew ~360ma. Retracted even at 1v.Has extremely little force, which is to be expected of course. Spring is extremely weak too. If you press it to the side a little, the friction will prevent it from retracting. When retracted, you can easily pull it back out.

Maybe it's just my lack of experience with these types of solenoids, but I was surprised to find that the piston is not attached to the body of the solenoid., and therefore cannot be used in any application that requires that the angle of the piston places the tip below the horizontal.
