Make sure that the cloth is kept below it so that the oil does not fall on your vehicle’s engine or yourself; 3.Wipe the dipstick gently using a paper towel or tissue paper or any clean cloth; 4.Insert the dipstick back into the tube from where you had pulled it out; 5.Pull the dipstick out again as you did previously and inspect it for the oil level.

This dipstick is a direct replacement for my 2010 Mazda 3 2.5. The length and measurement accuracy matches the OEM dipstick. The top of my oem dipstick broke off I attempted to glue it together but I used the wrong glue son bought this one instead. And it fits. It’ll probably fit other 2nd gen 2.5
