- Linear motion bearings provide freedom of movement in a single direction.
- Often used in conjunction with cylindrical shaft or rail.
- The steel ball is in point contact with the shaft and rotates with very little frictional resistance, so as to obtain smooth movement with high precision.

- Grease may be applied prior to use to improve smoothness.
- Maintain lubrication of optical shafts and guides during operation.
- The recommended load is 80% of the rated load, exceeding the rated load will affect fluidity.
- The table needs to be level during installation, otherwise it will interfere with installation calibration.
- Require regular cleaning and maintenance.

The chart at the bottom states that this one should come in a quantity of 2, but it only comes with 1 for whatever reason. Additionally it has about .2 degrees of play, meaning that ignoring all other support, my 3018 CNC would have about a full millimeter of tilt from one end to the other.

I ordered 4 of them for my ender 5 plus and they send me 3 extra for just in case I guess but unfortunately most of them came in with bad bearings. Only 3 out of 7 are good….I need good quality bearings for my ender 5 plus z rod to prevent from printing inconsistent layers. After replacing 3 bad bearings from my printer. I was lucky that I have only one old bearings that is still good and put 3 new in. It did solved the problem from inconsistent layers.

Great upgrade for my Ender 5 Plus, built of better material and quality than the OEM ones get rid of layer lines with these guys on your Z.
