I use the gun rest on my tripod that I carry with me for my spotting scope. I don’t do so well with a bipod Or a mono pod so I’ve been relying on my tripod. It is a lightweight aluminum unit that pairs up with this gun rest just fine. The rest itself is made out of stiff material. It is easy to attach to my tripod and works just as it should.

I actually primarily got this shooting rest for testing Nerf gun performance, but I did use it with a few firearms as well. It screws into a tripod and helps hold a long gun steady. Pretty simple. Add a ball head for even more control of the angle / declination / etc. I wasn't expecting much for the relatively low price, but I was impressed with the overall quality and workmanship.

For the price you can't do better. It's sturdy and screws right on to my camera monopod. All my rifles fit on this rest.
