I ordered these to sort of get my feet wet with these newer style intercoms. My last set of intercoms I used were wired, and were very clear sounding if somewhat a bit of a pain to hook up every time we got on and off the bike, and had no bike to bike capability, so I was unsure what to expect with this unit. I found them to be fairly easy to install, but this was not the first time I've installed headsets in a helmet, I've used wired intercoms for decades, and these were not any different in that regard. The unit mounted on the helmet very easily as well. I tried these out by pairing it to a friends unit of a different brand, and it connected right up with no issues. I had spent a week memorizing what all the many buttons did, so I was prepared, lol. First off, all those buttons are themselves a PITA, and should be reduced to a fewer number with buttons twice the size. With gloves on the buttons are essentially unusable. I found the sound quality to be acceptable on these up to about 50 mph, at which time it got a bit hard to make out what the other rider was saying clearly, but he could hear me just fine at speeds up to about 65 or so. I didn't try pairing my phone with this one, just wanted the basic experience, and overall it was a good one. I realize that at this price, this isn't going to perform as well as a higher quality unit, but this was enough to let me decide I like these style communicators, and want to try a better set now. I am giving this 4 Stars because I think the buttons are a sad arrangement, but somewhat useable anyway, and the sound at speed was not quite as clear as I hoped, again, useable, but not 5 Star material. This is a perfectly acceptable starter unit though, or as a cheap device to keep on hand as a loner to someone who wants to try it out on a ride with you.

Love this head sets and intercoms... They work great with my helmet... They do sound alil low even when all the volume is up but they get the job done.

I think if you get a motorcycle glove and put it alongside the intercom system you get the idea. Far too many buttons. Verbal commands would be far safer while on the road. So not for me personally but that is just my preference, others may be ok with lots of buttons.

This unit seems a lot like the Chatterbox units. Basically the same shape and idea. The sound is good, bass is a bit lacking but otherwise good. Install is as easy as any others, the cables are a nice length. Uses a standard micro usb cable for charging, so that's handy. Overall a decent unit.
