What was hard to find 304 stainless, seems the folks cutting it are saving money on length.... not 10 feet as written.... more like 9'8". Could only finish half my project. Now I have a bit of waste for the first and now second ordered. I'm sure I can find other critter barrier projects to build, but buyers be warned... order more. Who knows how varied the lengths on any roll of this stuff.

I bought WAY more than I needed since I was just replacing a bird screen on a 2" PVC exhaust.But, the material is flexible enough to shape easily and not so thick that it was hard to cut.I used side cutters to cut the material.Now I have lots left for any other proect that I could use wire mesh outside!

So far, so good. I wanted stainless because it will be submerged in my pond 100% of the time. Using to keep larger debris and fish out of the skimmer of my 10,000 gallon lilly & goldfish pond. It's heavy enough gauge to be self supporting and the welds seem strong enough. Not cheap, but a good value if it holds up. I'll update if it starts to rust or otherwise fail expectations.

I needed to replace some galvanized hardware cloth that was rusting out and I decided to give stainless steel a try. This is good stuff but a little harder to work with than the galvanized steel hardware cloth. Stainless is tough stuff and I had to work pretty hard to cut it with my snips. I got the job done though and this stuff is really good looking. It is strong and stiff and I'll bet I never have to replace it again.
