This tool did what it said it would do when I was disassembling my truck, I am putting it back together now so we'll see how it looks when I'm done. It's a bit of tension on it when in use, I should probably put a little lube on the threads to reduce wear.

Worked perfect. Used this tool to lower my 93’ k1500 by taking out my torsion keys and flipping them. I would recommend this tool.

I had no issues with the tool. I used it to to install a 3" tortion key lift on a 2001 tahoe. The tool worked effortlessly to tighten the keys so that I could remove the adjustment screws. Once seen other tools that state their tool applies tension evenly across the frame but I didn't see a need for it to, there was no twisting or distortion to the frame.

The tool done the job I bought it to do. I used it to unload the tension on the torsion bars on y 98 chevy k2500 so I could adjust the front ride height. I would advise that you put a little quantity grease on the threads of the tool and run the bolt on and out a couple times before using it. It will really help as you put tension on the tool. Also jack the front of the vehicle up under the frame and support it with jack stands to relieve some pressure from the bars while adjusting adjusting them.

Replaced the stock stamped steel lower control arms with forged arms on a 1999 GMC suburban. I also replaced the torsion bar keys as well. I've seen plenty of videos on this and it did seem a bit sketchy but experienced none of that. Using this tool I was able to release the load on the keys without any effort or worries about my safety. It handled the job like a boss. Once I was done I examined the tool and it wasn't bent, none of the threads were stripped. Still looked new. I've purchased specialty tools before where it was a one and done. Used it once and didn't feel confident using it again so in the trash it went. Not the case with with this torsion bar tool. I'd feel confident using it again. I put some grease on the threads to help protect them while using the tool and to get it to turn more easily, something you should consider doing as well. Be safe while working on vehicles my brothers and sisters.
