As lumber dries, it may split, cup and warp. This is more likely to occur to occur in lower-grade boards, where knots and uneven grains are already present

This isn't crappy wood. This is some of the best wood I've ever bought. I can't believe I had to order a pair of sticks from the internet, but I was in a jam. These got here quick and did the job. They'll likely come in handy for years to come. When the chips are down, and you need a 2x4... :P
