Nice length- good coverage. Has convenient zippered compartments located in different places on the coat. Outer material looks good for winter and the inside is soft and comfortable. Jacket is stuffed nicely. The five heating zones add extra warmth and comfort and the quality is good. Coat has a hood. Comes with battery. Good choice if you're looking for a heated jacket for winter.

The design of the pockets cause the jacket to stress at the seams of the pockets, literally after a couple of uses. The pockets sit too far back to be useful, but when I tried to put my hands in the pockets even the first time, I felt the seams give way. Now the filling is coming out. I bought before cold season, but didn’t wear for a few months, so I’m past returning. Disappointed.

The jacket is very well made and the zippers all function smoothly. The overall weight of the jacket is a little heavy. But that probably is because ive been wearing lightweight puffer coats before this one. I havent had the chance to test the longevity of the battery yet. But it seems to warm up quickly. The sides of the jacket have long zippers to cinch the jacket in tighter. From what I heard this is the hold the warm tighter to you and not let outside air in. Size is pretty accurate.

This is the most practically designed down jacket I have owned,It came with a carrying bag that holds the jacket and the battery pack. The whole thing including the carry bag is just a bit less than 40oz, not the lightest down jacket but not too heavy for large size jacket. The battery pack weights about 7oz. Without the battery and the bag, the jacket weights about 30oz.The jacket is compartmented to keep the down in place. The inside thermal mylar lining feels smooth and keep the body warmth inside. The end of sleeve is doubled with elastic inner sleeve to keep the cold air out.The hood has snap buttons to keep it in place both in store and in use. The hood is well padding to keep the head and ears warm.There are 7 pockets in total. 4 with zippers at front and 2 without the zipper on both sides to put hands in to keep the hands warm. The large pocket with zippers can hold important things like phones, wallet or passport etc without fearing then dropped out of pocket by accident and to deter pick pocket to great extent. There is one additional pocket with zipper inside to hold the battery pack. This pocket has double layer divide to hold the battery pack and something else like passport that will further prevent been pick pocketed.The jacket actually is warm enough for temperature even below freezing point without the use of the heating function. But if needed, there is a button just above the inside pocket to turn on and cycle though heat settings.The battery pack can also double as smartphone battery charger.Overall, I find this jacket very well made and the most attended to details and piratical in design I have owned. I only wish they put another two zipped pockets inside to further the versatilities of the design.

When I first received the jacket, and connected it up to the battery, it quickly became clear that it was broken. After some fiddling we could feel one of the wires just "floating" around inside the coat. But, someone I trust offered to fix it, so I handed over the coat, they did something to it (with a soldering iron) and when they gave it back to me it magically worked.From my coat repair person:The wires that attach to the control module (the on/off button on the front) don't have any strain relief attached to them, so if someone pulls to hard on the wire that connects the battery instead of pulling on the button, it pulls on the solder points that attach the wires to the button, and the wires can pull off.This is what had happened to my jacket before it ever got to me. One wire was completely broken off, and the other wire had nearly been pulled off.So it's fixed and I'm over that...mostly.The rest of the jacket is amazing. This is an outdoor winter jacket that is made for extreme conditions. Even without the battery pack, this jacket is extremely warm and comfortable. The hood is ultra soft, and the down insulation is excellent quality.This is a coat that you leave unzipped most of the time to avoid getting too hot! It may be around zero outside, be inside that coat it is a tropical rain forest. The first time I wore it outside, I had to turn it off, unzip it and open the front up to cool off despite a nasty wind and subzero temps!It has lots of adjustability too, the sides unzip, and there are two sets of buttons on the front that unsnap. These also help you stay cool. The arms are a good length, the zippers are excellent quality, and there are lots of pockets.The only thing missing are some ski lift passes pre attached so I can just hang around at the bottom of the slopes and look cool without having to pretend I actually like to ski.I was going to give the coat 1 star because of the broken wire, but someone fixed it for me so I went up to two stars, then I wore it outdoors and it went up to three stars. I am actually leaning towards 4 stars, but I just can't get past the broken wire, and it will always be bugging me...when will it break again.
