I originally order the 19-22mm and it was too small. I returned it for the 20-23mm and it fits perfectly. It is just snug enough that it doesn't feel it will fall off. Smooth shooting design. It is a keeper.

If you want to get into Asiatic Archery, THIS is the thumb ring to start with. You probably won't need another. This thumb ring protects your thumb from "bowstring abuse" while enabling a clean, precise release. It beats out leather and those DIY PVC rings by a long shot.

I like SHORT recurve bows (48" - 52"), which are impossible to draw with the 3 finger hold when drawing beyond 24". I have purchased several of these thumb rings, and they are AWESOME! Once you get familiar with the technique, you will never have a flawed release. Using this is as good as, and a whole lot simpler, than using a compound bow release trigger!

i originally ordered the wrong size, make sure the measurements are loose on your thumb, do not measure it tightly or it wont fit. product works great and i enjoy shooting with it. i recommend it for those who shoot with their fingers to try this as an alternative to the new triggers that are out there. it takes a little bit to get used to though.

Broke/chipped on first use, at the most important spot - the inside bottom part at the root of the thumb. I was lucky it didn't also lacerate my thumb. Not worth the money.

Just received my thumb ring today, 3 weeks earlier than what was quoted as the earliest date. Fits well and when I took it out for a test run this afternoon it worked well. This is my first thumb ring, and I am just now learning how to use it. So far I really enjoy it, but it is definitely different than shooting with three finger (Mediterranean style). I have been shooting traditional for over 18 years and shoot a handmade long bow for the last 16 years. I picked this thumb ring up because I just bought a new Mongolian bow and wanted to shoot like the Easterner's did/do. I will update this post as time goes on; how it holds up, how it shoots but for now this is a great item.

Ordered 2 of these, one for my daughter and one for myself. We measured the same way. Her's fits perfectly, mine is huge. I e-mailed the vendor and they told me to remeasure. I e-mailed them back with photos and have not heard back yet.The ring itself is as advertised. I keep getting the same measurements.

This is the first thumb ring string release I have ever used an I am very impressed by how well it fits and stays on my thumb. The release is fast an smooth with no string spin. Just takes some getting use to.
