This is a picture of the muffler on my Case Garden tractor, a new one with shipping and handling is nearly $300. So, I thought I'd try a muffler tape first. I used a rust inhibitor, painted it with heat paint, wrapped it with this muffler tape and secured it with stainless zip ties. I've got quite a few hours on it with no problems at all. Wish I'd taken a picture before but will say it needed replaced, the metal could be crushed easily and very rusted with holes.

This seller is CLEARLY re-selling either FACTORY REJECT or extremely "expired" product! TigerPatch Muffler repair tape is a VERY good and effective product, when it is provided well infused with its sealing emulsion - and I have used THE PRODUCT when purchased from local auto parts storefronts many times in the past quite successfully. However, what was delivered to us via this particular seller/merchant was COMPLETELY DRIED OUT - - - **ZERO** EMULSION infused within the bandage tape at all... and it was therefore completely USELESS for purpose! Totally, totally WASTED PURCHASE!

I ordered 3 packages of this product, my only complaint is they packages came cracked and opened so I am not sure if the tape should’ve been sticky, as it wasn’t. The products still went on and has so far stayed solid after 1 week.

When I opened the packaging and taking off the paper back and plastic backing, I noticed it wasn't sticky at all. Not like what I read in the reviews from the product being so sticky people had suggested ousting it in the freezer to make it more manageable to work with. Followed the directions as stated. First try didn't work. Tried a second time and it seemed to have worked better than the first attempt. Let it cure, then went and ran my errands. Heard the rattle noise from where the break was at in my exhaust at the Y pipe. The tape didn't shrink up and adhere like it was supposed to. Instead everything I had wrapped had unraveled and cured up.

I followed the directions on the back, it said to warm up the area before applying so I started my truck and let it run until the muffler was warm. Then it said for HOT areas, ie. Muffler, to put some aluminum foil on the area before applying the Tiger patch, so I used some aluminum foil tape. Applying the tiger patchs afterwards was easy, taking off the plastic is a littke tricky but if you use a knife to cut the plastic it will be easier to peal off. The plastic is on both sides. After wrapping the Tiger patches I used some more aluminum tape to help secure it down. Then the instructions say to run the vehicle for at least 20 minutes or go on a 20 minute drive. I let the car idle for 30 minutes and went on a 10 minute drive, so I think that was enough for it to get hot. I also drove it the next day and did thevsame thing. So far it looks like its done its job. No more noise escaping the muffler, the patches and aluminum tape have seemed to work.

Adhesión was poor quality.

I just put it in. Yes, it’s sticky, but not too adhesive. Little difficult to wrap around the exhaust depending where it is. I did use a part of a soda can to put over the hole. Might put a clamp on it.
