ANDMON Electric Fence Voltage Tester up to 13KV, ideal for Tester for Farm Family Garden Solar Fence Fault, Horse and Livestock Fencing. The fence testers are designed for measuring pulse voltages on the electric fences. It features Smart Power technology so that it will turn on at the detection of a pulse and turn off after about 4 seconds when no pulse is detected. This technology saves battery power and ensures that the fence tester is turned off when not in use.

TEST
- Testing the fence
- Make sure that the fence energizer is on.
- Push the ground probe into the earth.
- Touch the metal test probe to the live fence wire.
- Read measured voltage on the digital screen.
- Pull the test probe away from the fence.
- Remove ground probe out of the soil.
- Testing the battery
- Touch the ground probe to the negative terminal.
- Touch the test probe to the positive terminal.
- Read measured voltage on the digital screen.

Works great…several months in and no complaints. Much safer than grabbing hold of the wire and hoping for the best. Seems accurate across a wide range of voltages from small batts to a 9kv fence. Very happy.

We've used the American FarmWorks digital for years, but when it wears out it is expensive to replace. This time when mine wore out I went with this model because reviews for it were good. It consistently reads 2k lower than the AFW we have. It is not good when trying to isolate a problem.

Requires a standard 9V battery (not included). Automatically displays electric fence voltage up to 13KV when the unit contacts the fence. Automatically displays fence charger battery voltage when the unit contacts the battery terminals, which makes it perfectly suited for 12V battery and solar powered fence chargers. Automatically shuts off when no voltages are detected. This would be a 6-star product if it included a carrying case (instead of the cardboard box it comes in). All around a great product.

I’d give it 5 stars except the cord is to short! If your testing horse fence with a hot wire running along the top most spots it won’t reach! Other then that it’s easy to use easy to read just to short a cord to ground

I like that it finds low voltage and registers it. We use it both on our puppy pen and my goat pens. Different voltage for small pups and when they get older they stay off fences and end up in goat pens that have higher voltage. One meter for both jobs.
