Works great! So much hair comes out and my dog doesn’t mind being brushed with it at all!

I use this thing daily. It was a slow burn for my cats, who found it intense at first, but grew to enjoy the sensation. (My one cat loves stimulating his gumline with the nubby side...which has helped as a prelude to toothbrushing...who knew). It's definitely distinct from my 10+yo ZoomGroom, which still has its niche in my tool kit. The toothy burred part on the back side (hard to see on the images) is my favorite feature. it works almost like a de-shedding blade, basically teasing out the same undercoat hairs you'd get with a Furminator but without the same intensity of grabbing for the animal. It's more clear the hairs are coming out on their own terms...if that's ever come into question for you with the Furminator. I've never encountered anything like this burr feature for a cat, but now it's my go-to mode of brushing. The back side of the brush is also an amazing and very satisfying hand tool for removing fur from EVERYTHING— particularly knittted items and uneven fabrics.

Let me start by saying I volunteer at a rabbit rescue and this brush is effective to pull up loose undercoat (back side) and pull out all the already loose hair (front side, held sideways), while being gentle enough to not bother most of them. I have tried many brushes, and 🔥 this is a best-in-class product 🔥If you care about getting the hair out, this will do it.⚠️ HOWEVER, AS WITH ANY TOOL, YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT IT IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT ⚠️This is not a wicker brush, and the hair does not stay trapped in the tool. It gets everywhere. I recommend doing the de-shedding outside. The back is for undercoat. It is great at that. It is decent as a furniture spot cleaner, too, but it is about 1/4 as effective as those red velvet pet hair rollers. Don't expect a miracle. It is relatively small. This is a good thing - if it were larger the surface area from the silicone would pull on the coat more and make my buns uncomfortable. This does mean it takes a little bit more time. However, it is comfortable enough for my rabbits that they'll sit still much longer, so I don't mind.It is soft silicone. Store it in a cool dry place, and it'll last. If you keep it out in direct sunlight, it'll probably start to crumble after a while. That's just how the material behaves. If your pets don't like it, start with the front side (long-ways) and just be gentle with it.

I lost my first one and had to get another. This is great for getting hair off cat trees, furniture, and carpet. It works so well. It’s also gentle on the cats. This works best for my short hair cat. Not great for long hair. Easy to wash.

My short haired cat hate being brushed before I got this. Now she loves being brushed and actually purrs the whole time! The only downside is that it doesn’t hold onto the hair so it tends to go everywhere.

My cat loves this brush. It's soft and she much prefers it to metal brushes. It's difficult to remove the hair from the brush even though it does a good job of removing her loose fur.

Fantastic brush!! Works excellent for short hair dogs/cats. I was suprised at just how great it works. Also comes in options for longer haired cats and dogs. 3 different versions by color. Besides using as a brush and for seasonal hair shed removal/raking, I use it during baths to work the shampoo evenly through the coat, using as a squeegee, and during the drying process. I use it ALOT as a daily massager and let me tell you, the dogs love it!! As our dogs enjoy this brush, I always take it with me when going to our vet or any potentially stressful situation as it helps keep them calm, while desensitizing in a positive manner for an exam for example. I was originally truly skeptical about this brush. It is so good it is now apart of my "dog kit" that has important medical supplies to this brush. Our dogs HATE brushes and touching their coats aside from petting etcetera. So when they not only let me brush them but also use it for other things such as massage, my jaw hit the floor! Highly, HIGHLY recommend! Hope this helps! :)

My groomer recomended this brush for regular brushing, deshedding and being gentle on my dogs skin (particularly when we had irritation from slicker brushes and dandruff). Its FANTASTIC! I use it on my australian cattle dog/corgi mix with a short/complex coat as often as needed since its so gentle - brushing in circular motions. It has 2 SIDES - one with longer brushes that I use on the areas with longer thicker fur, and one side with small grooves that will pick up loose hairs (and I use it to massage and brush the top of his head). This is honestly the best part - being able to groom around his head, neck and body and then go back with the opposite side to pick up extra loose hairs.I collects almost all the fur in the long grooves while I brush! much less mess.CLEANING: I use my vaccume attachment to suck up all the dog hair out of the brush, but as another reviewer mentioned, tapping it on the counter or in a bowl of water works too. Then I'll throw it in the washing machine with his blankets and dog towels on cold - delicate cycle with mild/gentle detergent and tumble dry low. Washed it several times and its still good as new!

Absolutely love this product! It's so easy to use and it really does grab those loose hairs that most pet brushes leave behind. I have the Furminator tool which my cats run from when they see me coming with it but with this new brush they don't run away and one of my cats will run to me because she enjoys it so much. We actually have to order another one because she doesn't want to share "brush time" with the other cats, she insists that it's always her turn! This tool also works well at removing hair off of furniture and I've also used it in the car. I find that when it's time to clean it, it isn't as complicated as what some people are saying. If you can clean out your own hairbrush, you can clean this. No, there's no magic button that will make the collected hair fall out or disappear. All you have to do is reach in and pinch it to grab it. I remove 95% of the hair before rinsing it under running water (I don't want all that hair going down the drain). The brush is flexible so you can flex it to grab every last hair. If you can't handle that, then I'm assuming it's easier for you to continue vacuuming and lint rolling hair from everywhere. For me, this product is a game changer and worth every cent!

I LOVE this cat brush, I originally saw it in a Buzzfeed article and was skeptical but decided to give it a try because one of my cats (short hair) regularly got hairballs and I was tired of scrubbing my carpet. He enjoys being brushed with it and it pulls out a ton of loose hair. He has a short silky coat and this brush works well on him. I started brushing him for maybe 5 minutes a day, every day, and it has dramatically reduced the amount of hairballs he coughs up.An awesome bonus is the other side of the brush is designed for cleaning hair off furniture and clothes, and that side works amazingly well. Works better on my couch and bed than a "pet hair" vacuum cleaner or sticky lint roller. It's a little pricy but considering how well it works, I think it's worth the high price. It can be somewhat challenging to remove the loose hair from the bristles and I recommend pulling it out by hand when your hands are slightly damp by brushing it against your palm. I did try to rinse it out once in the bathroom sink and all the hair clogged my drain, oops. Don't make that mistake!

It does a fairly good job of picking up hair without being too scratchy and the different sides available come in handy. But it also does pick up lots of static at the same time so if the hair doesn't go on the brush, it'll go on your clothes. I also just vacuum up the hair from the brush very easily.
