Got what I paid for. Very happy with the tool itself, but the included bit for the 1/2” I needed had a ton of flashing and needed filed to clean it up. Still worked, so pleased, but might be a good idea to buy other mortising bits.

Seems nice quality metal and the bit holding piece fit my larger size bench top drill press perfectly without need for one of the included spacers. What didn't work for me was the piece that holds the board down against the drill press table. The shape of the metal was not compatible with my drill press. However, by using clamps I am able to secure my workpiece OK. Given the fair price for all thats included with the kit, I am otherwise pleased with the purchase.

Fits drill press just fine but I purchased it to drill holes. It might drill through butter. The booklet does say that it is only machine cut and will need sharpened by a professional. If that had been highlighted another option might have been chosen.

It does work on my Wen 4212T drill press. I would not buy it expecting to use it regularly. Requires too much pressure on the levers to get the bit into to the 1 1/2inch soft pine I was using. I don't think it would work for a hard wood. Might be fine for a larger drill press.

There are four square ming bits that you need to sharpen before you use them however the attachment fits my machine perfectly and they produce clean cut Mortis when the bits have been sharpened properly so you have to learn how to sharpen them and a special tool is required

Used it to mortise table legs and it works great.I had an older fixture but it required odd size chisels and drills. At the good price it made sense to upgrade.
