Knocked star off cause striker didn't work, torch was loose in box, and the glass (plastic) from the regulators.works well, quality is good for the price, doesn't feel like it's going to explode like some of the other cheap sets. No leaks. Takes a bit to get used to from oxy acyletene. Few tips below.1. To prevent flame out when turning on the oxygen hold the torch against a piece of steel at a 45 degree angle. This will make it much easier to keep lit while adjusting.2. If preheat takes more that 10 seconds need more oxygen. A good flame looks very oxy rich compared to acyletene. This torch will preheat 1/2 in steel to Kindle temp in 5ish seconds when set properly.

Regulators work fine. I wish the gauges had more legible psi scale, but once you figure out where to set them it’s ok. Torch has a generally weak feel. The plastic grip and stamped metal cut lever don’t feel good in your hand. Worst of all, the knobs all turn way too easy, so in the middle of a cut your hand bumps them and change your settings. Happens way too often. Though I gotta admit it makes a good cut when it’s set right

The package arrived in the original packaging with the main torch body torn loose, luckily all the parts were still there. They needed to tape the box closed to prevent tampering.Not yet hooked up but it is a long trusted brand that I have used for years.

Torch works like a champ and does alot of what I need it to do. Only downside is finding the correct accessories. Took me and my local welder supply place over an hour to find the adapters and such for other processes like brazing. If all your going to do is cut metal and heat up for bending this is definitely the torch for you.

Received promptly. Propane torch kit contained all components but the dual hose included in kit was type for oxy acetylene (type RM) instead of type “T” suitable for use with propane. When notified of the issue with hose they promptly corrected the problem sending correct hose. Propane torch works as expected. Took a little getting used to difference in getting it adjusted properly compared to acetylene torch but with correct size tips for job it works good. Purchased couple other sized tips to go with kit for cutting thicker and thinner materials. Pleased with purchasing and equipment experience.
