I purchased instead of the nikkor 20 f1.8 as a travel lens. For the money its quite good and Viltrox updates firmware and the latest one allows for firmware version to be displayed on the camera.

This lens is an incredible value and super-handy. On a recent trip, i had a long lens and a mid-range zoom, but felt the need for a fast wide lens. This was perfect for interior shots (museums, etc.). And so small! OK, the corners may not be as sharp as Nikon’s offerings, but the centers are fine. At this price and size, you can’t go wrong.

I bought it for Street photos and day-to-day memo. Versatile Focal Length with Wide aperture is its Crucial value. Which is impressively fast in auto focus and super sharp lens. I am happy on my spend.

I bought this lens to compliment the 28 and 40mm SE lenses I have for me Zf. (Hoping Nikon will release a 50+ SE lens)The 20mm is a perfect fit to the kit in size and weight. It balances really well on the Zf and doesn’t require the need for a grip. The 20 and 40 would make an amazing travel combo for the Zf.The image quality is excellent on the 24mp Zf with corners being slightly behind center at 2.8. Colors are very vibrant and overall contrast is high. Last good thing to note is it also uses the same filter size as the 28 and 40mm lenses, so it really fits in with the system.Video AF is fast and may be a good vlogging lens if you’re into that.Packaging is good with good protection and comes with a pouch in case you need it.

One of the highest quality lenses I've ever held in my hands. Phenomenal in low light and a beast when it comes to bokeh. Unfortunately, I do not shoot many portraits in low light so I just can't justify MY need for this lens so I am sending back and sticking with my Viltrox 27mm f1.2 pro which is another amazing lens from Viltrox. With all that said, anyone needing a high quality 75mm portrait lens, this is the one to get.

You can’t beat the price for a lens that takes great photos. Focuses fast, very light, and takes great videos. Took the lens to Europe and visited 4 countries, I never used another lens I brought with me because this one fit all occasions. Great in low light too.
