There were so many mixed reviews I wasn't sure buying this item was a smart choice. After taking my time and being patient, I was impressed with the finished result. It was similar to installing a protective film on your cell phone. Make sure the surface is clean and use some tape to guide you on a perfect alignment of the bigger stickers. I used a plastic ruler wrapped in a soft cloth to push out any air bubbles. Once I was done, I used the soft cloth again and went over the entire surface to ensure cohesion. I heard in some of the negative reviews that the stickers started to bubble or peel once the unit got hot. Like cell phone protective film, I understand that once you install it, the manufacturer recommends that you keep the unit off for a few hours allowing to film to adhere properly. I bought my grandson a used PS4 Slim and the surface was scratched and looked old. After installing this, the console looks brand new. I bought a new controller on Amazon as well. This controller is not an official Sony controller and I thought I would have issues with the sticker not fitting around the buttons, but it fit around the buttons just fine except around the PS button. This button was not round but a triangle. I solved the problem by using a small knife to open around the button so the sticker would not hold the PS button down; it looks like a perfect fit now (see the pictures I took). Since his birthday is in a few days, I will see if the stickers are still "holding on" after he uses the console. I will update my review if there is anything useful to add.UPDATE: It's been over three months since I bought this product. There have been no issues with the stickers: no curling on edges, no bubbling or stickers loosing cohesion. Like any kid, my grandson is constantly playing on his console and using his controller and the stickers are still in place. Just TAKE YOUR TIME when installing theses stickers. Make sure the surface is clean and dust free, press out any air bubbles and don't use your unit for a few hours. I would buy this product again.

It takes patience to put the decals on the Playstation.. and it does look adorable in the game room..they will curl up on the corners it you manage to handle them to much b4 you adhere them..AND they don't come with diagram instructions which would be a great help. Other wise the kids will enjoy the skins

I haven’t even had this product for a month and it has peeled up and won’t stick. Before I applied it I had wiped and completely cleaned my console.
