I have a 4/4 violin and when I first took this out of the box I was not sure it would fit. It seemed too snug on the violins back. I was getting ready to return it or give it to my friend who has a smaller violin but then I took a look again at the listing and saw that there were adjustment holes on the wings. So I took the silicone covered grips off by simple unscrewing them and then put the in the holes that were furthest apart. I also raised them since I like my violin up high. That did the trick! Fits perfectly now.I like that it positions my violin fairly horizontal because of the prominent raised lower side, see pictures, fit is personal and you may like a rest that positions the violin more in a vertical position. I play standing up, those who sit and play might not like the position this places the violin in. Again personal preferences.As with every rest, the swoop of the design might be too little or not enough. Everyone has a different posture and neck length and fit is very personal. If this fits for you it is a great rest that you will be showing off to others. I really like that it is made of a composite material so it can’t warp but it also is super lightweight and it’s finished so it is a dead ringer for wood. The cost is very reasonable

My favorite shoulder rest so far!! I have many of them with different features, heights and design. This one is adjustable in all the ways, it’s super comfortable for the shoulder and collarbone, it looks so chic! Super recommend!

My daughter uses it for her 4/4 violin and she really likes it. The silicone grips work really well and the size is adjustable. The smooth wood look on one side is pretty cool! It is lighter than the violin, so perhaps it looks a little different, but she likes it a lot. Overall, I think it is a well priced shoulder rest that works very well.

This shoulder rest fits well with my 4/4 violin. The height is easy to adjust to fit your shoulder size. I have to raise one side to about three quarters of an inch and keep the other side to the minimum to fit my shoulder shape. After the adjustment, it sits tight and comfortably on my shoulder. The craftmanship of this rest is great. The surface is smooth and shinny. The bottom padding is soft enough. Even though the light color does not match with my violin that it can be easily seen if you come closer to it, it is not a big deal to me.

The shoulder rest feels very stable and ergonomic. But after a few hours of practice, the rubber cushion’s glue lost its adhesive property. Despite this, the shoulder rest is very good in keeping the violin in control.

This shoulder rest looks and feels well made. It has a good look to it as well; I like the wood grain pattern; it gives it a nice, elegant design. The shape fits my shoulder well and feels comfortable.
