great bike for someone with balance issues

My 80 year old neighbor, Joe, had his license pulled by his Doctor because of balance issues. He had an 2000 F-150 that he did not know what to do with, so he sold it to me. CHEAP!!! It's an awesome pickup, a little TLC and it'll be even better.As giddy as I was about getting another pickup at such a screaming good deal, I felt guilty. I do not know why, I didn't invalidate his license... but I did take his independence, in a fashion.I bought him this electric trike to give him his legs back. It has enough of a range that he can get anywhere in town he wishes, and a basket that his dog rides in too! All the other geezers at the assisted living place used to gloat because they had mobility scooters and he didn't. Man, are they jealous now!!!I only built it for him, never have ridden it, so I cannot comment on any of that. But to see his beaming smile as he goes down the road tells me it was worth it!!!Oh, it's a LOT more complicated to build than you would expect, but the instructions were clear, precise and walked you through step by step.I would do it again!

I love this bike! It is so fun and so pretty. It rides smooth and is speedy! My fur babies and I are in love. I will say, it took a LONG time to put together. Every piece needs assembly, and we had an issue with the wiring due to not understanding the instructions, but we contacted the company and they helped us resolve it immediately! They are wonderful. Overall this bike is exceptional! I highly recommend to anyone who wants the speed of a scooter with the comfort of a tricycle!

Great for running errands or exercising and fun I'm loving to ride again at 67 since my mobility is slowing .It's also my physical therapy for back and knee injury. I do peddle most of the time and use the power for backup. Happy riding.

Bought for wife with afib issue. Can exercise but revert to electric motor when tired or afib kicks in. Still a bit tall for 5’3” lady.
