These are very well made and I use them for both gessoing and painting on directly, or gluing down paper for watercolor or gouache. The very fine, smooth finish to the surface is wonderful. Less expensive than the cost at my local arts and craft locations, I feel these are a great quality and a good value.

These wood art boards are very well made. I did a thorough quality check on each one and could not find one flaw. No glue overflow, no cracks, no warpage, no knot holes, no sharp edges. These are white wood, likely from the Poplar tree so there is only very slight wood graining visible. The cradle framing is tight with perfect mitered edges. Every edge is sanded smooth and the corners are tight. My only recommendation is that they use a little thicker framing to achieve a more gallery thickness for fine art pieces. But if you are putting these inside a floating frame they will work very well. These are 3/4 of an inch thick. I am very pleased with the smooth finish and good quality wood and construction. Excellent quality control on this product. The value for the money is outstanding. I will use these for my palette knife and textured paintings that need a solid substrate. All I need to prep them is 2 coats of gesso and no sanding needed. What a great deal. Artist approved!

I am an artist, and I have almost exclusively made all of my own wood panels in my own primitive shop and have done fairly well at it. But these are beyond my workmanship, and it's got me thinking that I should probably switch to purchasing these instead. Super smooth, very flat, and the framing wood is solid and laid wide-ways to add to that sturdiness. The grain of all of the birch panel fronts is almost flawless, as well as the cuts and sanding, etc. They just feel like silk in your hands. Congratulations on a great product.

I really like these, especially for mixed media projects. These hold up far better for decoupage and layering different mediums and materials than canvas does. These are nice and smooth, so they’re also great for painting as well. They’re a bit on the expensive side, but they’re nice to work with.

I use wood panels for my encaustic and collage art. Encaustic is the art of working with hot wax. The boards stand up to the heat gun or torch and provide a nice smooth, firm surface. If the surface isn't stable, the wax will crack. Encaustic art supplies are expensive so it's important to have a quality substrate to work upon. These seem to just what I need as a very reasonable price.

These are excellent quality! I got them for epoxy pouring, and they work absolutely beautifully for it! No leaks! Really sturdy and durable! Nice weighted wood! A little shy of an inch deep maybe- just guesstimating on that. I didn’t actually measure them. This is a great buy for artist or epoxy enthusiasts. I wanted a pack with multiple frames so that I could practice my epoxy hobby. These are large enough for practice and professionals. They are fairly large. Depending if using vertical or horizontally , the height is short and long in width or vise verse. I didn’t actually measure them, but they are definitely much larger than your average cotton canvas . The wood is beautiful. The crafting you can do with these is endless. Well worthy of a buy.

I enjoyed painting on these wood canvases! They arrived nicely protected. The panel is nice and smooth and so is the rest of the wood. It took paint well and dried nicely. There was no buckling or warping as the paint dried. Can't wait to use the rest!
