The high quality optical magnifying lenses are diopters for close up photography, which shorten the close focusing distance of the lens. It allows the lens to go closer to the subject than before and to achieve a larger image scale. Lenses can be used individually or in combination for maximum effect.
You can safely store your lenses in the included wallet style carrying case. This case protects your lenses from scratches and its velcro seal makes it easy to carry around for maximum portability.

Maybe not the same quality as a dedicated macro lens, but these give me the opportunity to experiment (and decide whether I want to invest in that lens). I find that I use the +2 and +4 the most often: +1 doesn't get me enough of a close-up effect, and the depth of field on +10 is so narrow that it's tough to get a reasonable amount of detail in focus.

I used the +1 and +2 adapted onto a trail camera to get really nice close-up videos of birds and other critters coming to my water tank. They work great. Most of the time, the +1 is just right.

Even though I generally prefer two-element "achromatic" close-up lenses to the single-element type sold here, for the low price (and some nostalgia for the name...;-), I bought them in the 37mm size to try on some of my lenses. At "smallish" apertures (f10-f18), the +4 worked very well on my Panasonic 12-32mm and the +10 worked very well on my 14-42mm PZ lenses. Result: good "macro" performance with very little additional weight, size, and expense...--DR

I recently bought this lenses for my Nokia Lumia 1020, I'm using them together with an adaptor I made for it. The results are Great and add a Lot of fun to your photography. The results are quite good and impressive thanks to the image stabilization and the lossless zoom.

Got this for my PEN E-PL2 as a cheap and quick way to get started with macro photography. Lenses worked better than I expected. Very happy. Maybe not as good as pro lenses for 100's or 1,000's of dollers, but for $10 you can't hardly go wrong.

I bought this product to do macro work with my Lensbaby...excellent effect and saved me lots of money over the Lensbaby brand and fit perfect. Some vignetting when the filters are stacked but this is to be expected and is actually desirable in some cases. This product exceeded my expections...definitely recommended.

The 1, 2 and 4x lenses are decent, increasing magnification without much issue. The 10x on the other hand is next to impossible to focus anything at a distance, but does provide a nice macro.
