I recently purchased the VIVO Gray 250ft Bulk Cat5e cable, and I'm very happy with my purchase. The cable is high quality, and it's perfect for my networking needs. The UTP pull box made it easy to run the cable, and the 24 AWG wire provides a reliable connection. I used this cable to connect my computer to my router, and I noticed a significant increase in my internet speed. I also used it to connect my gaming console, and I haven't experienced any lag or dropped connections. I highly recommend this cable to anyone looking for a high-quality Ethernet cable. Here are some specific things I like about this product: * Quality: The cable is made of high-quality materials, and it's very well-made. * Ease of use: The UTP pull box makes it easy to run the cable. * Performance: The cable provides an excellent connection, and I've noticed a significant increase in my internet speed. * Price: The cable is reasonably priced, and it's worth the money.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase of the VIVO Gray 250ft Bulk Cat5e cable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality Ethernet cable.

Licensed electrician here, I got this because I needed some white cable as it’s going to be exposed. This stuff is very fragile and the wires break when trying to straighten them out to terminate them. It kinks really easily too and given how fragile the wires are, I don’t trust it to not break the connection inside the jacket. Ended up ripping it out and replacing it with some SouthWire, the good stuff. Don’t like leaving bad reviews, I’m just very dissatisfied.

I needed to run about 150 feet from inside the house and into the back yard to hook up a wifi mesh access point. For the price, this was the best deal that I could find to get a relatively small amount of wire to do the job. I could have purchased a 1000' coil for about $20 more but 850' of wire would be sitting around my house forever. I found the casing on the wire to be of decent quality and the twisted pair wires were also brightly colored making it easy to distinguish gw/g pairing etc. Other wire I have used in the past had such pale coloring such that it was near impossible to tell which one was the white coded one. The casing on the wire was actually stronger and more pliable than I expected. It also has UV protection so it should do fine outdoors. I did put it in conduit where I could and where it would be most susceptible to exposure. I am not anticipating any issues. I have used cat5e outdoors before without issue. I have no issues with it being copper clad aluminum and really, you could not tell. If you are using it for network cabling, you have to reason to be exposing bare wire anyway. It crimped to RJ45's just fine.

I used this for my 12 camera PoE system at my cabin/garage. Not a single issue after 3 years. It may not be "Recommended", but it is perfectly capable of powering 4K cameras and live streaming. Would buy again in a heart beat!!!!

These work well for me. I use them on boats to run network cables. The red matched the theme of the boat perfectly, as some of the network cables to the graphs were exposed. That's a lot of cable for the money. I would definitely buy it again if I needed it again.

Pros:- good quality- more than enough for small projects- cheaper than buying pre-made cablesCons:- a bit difficult and not so smooth when pulling cables out of the box- why the black or grey coloured ones are expensive than blue ones?

VIVO CABLE-V002. UTP category 5e.* Unshielded (no mesh to shield against electronic interference or snooping)* Solid wires. Stranded CAT5 is more commonly used in home networking than solid CAT5. Stranded cables are more flexible, allowing cabling to be moved around the home without fear of damaging the wires inside. Stranded cables also cost less than solid cables. Solid CAT5 supports a somewhat higher level of performance (electrical properties). Businesses wiring inside office walls or under floors to fixed locations might benefit from solid cabling. Don't use solid cable with connectors only rated for stranded cable. You can get connectors that work with both.* NOT rated for outdoor burial.* NOT rated as a plenum cable. Plenum rated cable has a special insulation (more expesive) that has low smoke/flame properties. Plenum cable is REQUIRED to be installed in any "air handling" space. For example, most large office buildings use the ceiling to return air to the AC unit (plenum ceiling), and cables that go through it must be plenum rated. Check your building codes. This cat 5e cable has less insulation than cat 6 is and less tightly wound-somewhat easier to use than Cat 6. However, cat 6 is better for future high speed networks at the cost of a couple dollars more per 100 feet. See part CABLE-V006 for the Cat6 version of this product.Conforms to TIA/EIA 568-B.2. The TIA/EIA 568-B.2 draft discusses balanced twisted-pair cabling components. This standard specifies cabling components and transmission requirements for a cabling system.Very good for making patch cords (only drawback not cat 6)Good for home wiringFair for small business in-wall wiringNot recommended for new homes or business properties. For that go with cat6 and if needed plenum rated cable.
