I love the size of the tray and the fact it does not need to be permanently mounted. The problem with the tray occurs with any weight from your arms, wrists, or waist is applied to the tray, it slides back under the desk. Yes... the desk is level. The tray is on rails that are slanted a tad toward the back of the desk. I have tried clamps and it won't alleviate the problem.VIVO: Add lock in place clamps to your next design.

Just received it today, assembled (super easy to do so) and works perfect. The tray and drawer lock on both sides correctly when pulling them out or retracting them, the drawer is made of metal, not plastic, is sturdy and large enough to store pens and notebooks. The mechanism to pull the tray or the drawer works perfect. The overall quality is there. I had the other version with the pencil drawer and returned it as expectations were not met. With this one so far I am very happy. Let's see how long it will last. For the price, it better last a long time.

it was presented as the catalogue described. no problem with putting together or installing. the drawer is too easy to open, but insignificant.

What I was looking for - I was looking for a keyboard pullout tray and also possibly under table storage for smaller items. This was to be used with a standing desk (motorized) that had a shallow clearance underneath of 9". I ran across this product while looking for another and realized it had great potential to fulfill both keyboard and under table drawer/shelf usage.The package arrived timely and was a bit heavier than expected. This turns out to be a good thing as the product is made with metal and high density compressed wood particle board that is laminated. The drawer was an all metal structure with a respectable sliding rail mechanism on both sides. Once mounted to the keyboard tray and the rails put in place along with the clamps, I was able to mount the keyboard tray/drawer with little effort.Due to the shallow space allowed in my set up, the keyboard tray/drawer unit stick out just a tiny bit which absolutely was to be expected in my set up and causes zero issues. Overall, the keyboard/tray was a good investment even if the price seemed a bit high.I waited to review as time would let me know if this product would work well and it has been in use every day for a few weeks now. The drawer unit continues to work smooth and and has a "soft" clasp like set up when closed. It stores papers, pens, thumb drives and more with plenty of room for other items. The keyboard tray is presently has both an Apple magic keyboard (short) and the magic touch pad. There is still plenty of room for other items if need be.My choices - the sides of the unit has the ability to be adjusted. I opted to have the keyboard set up as close to the bottom of the desk as possible. There is still plenty of clearance for mice etc. My reason was to be sure I can put my legs under the desk and have the desk not having to be too high. The choice works well. Also, I elected to line the drawer with a soft material to avoid items directly on the metal which protects the items and reduces noise.Assembly - use the video as the printed directions on their own may be for some, confusing or insufficient.It took me less than an hour to put it all together and have it attached to my desk.This unit isn't for everyone and I strongly suggest that you have clearance under the desk for the device to slide in. Also, it is wide so again, measure and be sure this will work for your needs. For my needs, this has been a good purchase. Later, if I get a larger desktop, I will be eying some other VIVO products.

Wow, my stress levels were on high with assembly of this product. It would have been nice to have come preassembled with directions only for cases when you needed to adjust for desk thickness. Overall, happy with quality - just not a good experience with assembly.

Would be 5 stars if support for back of the shelf was included. All the support comes from the desk attachments and the shelf droops in the back.
