This chrome look stainless steel braided leader hose is a direct replacement for the one present on VXC8101 and VXC8301 air compressors, but can also be used on any compressor with a ¼" NPT female port. The hose measures 13" long and includes a swivel ¼" NPT in-line check valve to allow the air to flow in only one direction. Inside the braided metal protection is a strong heavy duty rubber hose. The perfect replacement solution for worn out hoses.

The quality is perfect! The placement and lack of directional marking really sucked!!! I hooked it up as you would normally to a compressor, and ended up taking EVERYTHING back apart. I thought my solenoid valve wasn’t opening… only to find that the check valve needed to be on the end of the feed line, not the beginning to the air source! Hope this helps!

Quality hose with built in check valve. Works good as the first connection to vehicle's on-board air compressor to help dissipate heat that can be an issue for the plastic tubing used in some air systems. Double check the direction of the check valve flow prior to installing (there is no arrow on hose/valve).
