I have 2 of these batterys, one for my Anytone 878, the other for my BTECH DMR 6X2. The fit is perfect, and I love the USB-C port. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it will not charge via USB if you are using a PD charger. It will only charge on the lower current USB chargers. Thankfully most of my chargers will do both so not a huge deal, but would have been better if it would accept PD charging.

Will not charge via USB PD charger. I have tons of wall chargers and battery banks around my home but all of them are PD, so this battery is worthless to me.

I purchased this battery pack for my BTECH 6X2 Pro, and it works perfectly. I had a tough time distinguishing this one from the original that came with my radio, which speaks to its quality and compatibility. The biggest selling point for me is the USB-C port, which adds a level of convenience that's hard to beat. Charging is now much more straightforward, and I appreciate not needing a separate charger. I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable replacement battery with modern charging capabilities.

This battery is the real deal! There's a little LED next to the charge port to indicate charging or charged. Now I can ditch my charge cradle when packing my 878!

USBC does not support USBC PD charging. It needs to be plugged into a USBC to USBA adapter to limit it to 5v for charging.This means you are limited to 5V and do not get any USBC charging advantages as it lacks the PD controller IC chip. This is usually done to save money on manufacturing. Even the Baofeng batteries w/ usbc for Baofang radios support USBC PD charging. I was surprised that this battery does not. It's unfortunate that this limitation exists, but it's better than nothing. Hopefully, a battery with real USBC PD charging will come out soon for Anytone radios.
