So far can only say that it looks good and warm today so probably won’t know for a couple of days. Use for? Well, it’s a (relatively inefficient) thermoelectric device designed specifically to move air. What else can you do with it- mix bread dough?

My husband needed a replacement fan for his stove fireplace to heat his garage. The price was much affordable than purchasing a fan at a retail store. He says it works well for a fraction of the price he would have paid buying at stores in our area

Starts working at low heat and stays on for a long time. Moves a bit of air but don't expect it to blow your hair back.

I have used this at 2 locations. 1 is a plate steel wood stove where there is no electricity and this fan is very effective there and seems to turn faster than some of the others I've seen. The other location is on a soapstone stove, where it moves some air, but doesn't have as much impact since there is already some electric air circulation in the house. Overall, you have to think of these as a very mild air circulator and not as a "fan". The bonus is the speed gives you a visual indication of stove temperature so you know when it's dying down. They are also a nice conversation piece.

The fan arrived earlier than expected. The blades would not spin when placed on a hot stove. After submitting a return request, I was placing the fan back into the box it came in and discovered that there was a wire connector un plugged. Once the wire was connected, the fan works perfectly and I have cancelled the return. The fan does not move a great amount of air but it does create a light warm breeze that can be felt in front of the stove that actually does move the heat outward into the room.

I opted for the Voda "Newly Upgraded 4 blade Fan" cfm up to 240.I place d the fan on the edge/corner, slightly near the back as advised in the directions. The directions advised not to place it in the center.I started a fire, waited about 3 mins or so and placed the fan on the stove. I touched the blade and it started spinning immediately. The temp of the stove was about 180°f.I could feel the air movement when it started. Now that air movement is low as to be expected. It's powered thermoelectric.Noise or sound is ever so slight, one has to struggle to hear it. The flames and air movement in my stove is much louder.I purchased this fan on Cyber Monday at a discount. I'm very happy with it's current performance. If it lasts, I would not have a problem purchasing at full price. Note many other companies are over a hundred dollars. I'm considering buying a second one soon. One for each corner of the stove

Not sure why, but the fan has always rotated counterclockwise. As a result it’s useless as a fan.Wish it could be fixed, cuz it spins otherwise - just not in the right direction!

Works unreal! Moves the heat to one side of the house perfectly. No more electric fan that was not as good.

I tested the Voda, cwlakon, and wyrjxyb side by side. Voda came in second place behind the Wyrjxyb. Air flow was good and I like the heaviness and construction of the Voda. It also starts at a lower heat than others I have tried. But I went with the Wyrjxyb because it had more airflow and also was oscillating.

Had my first one for 6 or 7 years before it finally needed to be replaced. The time waiting for it to come felt very different in my house; the temperature distribution was so uneven. Got the new one and it worked immediately, smoothly, and without any sound. It really does move a lot of heat without being intrusive.
