Of course, thermal images don't last forever but this is an easy to use fun little gadget. My grandson has had fun playing with it. He's printed out several photos from his phone without any help. He's 12 just for reference.

This little printer is too cute! It prints in black-and-white, and it comes with an app that can print off pre-made icons like hearts, stars, animals, and so on. You can also load any pictures from your phone on the app and print them. You can print custom labels or use it to print black-and-white photos to hang up.

UPDATE: I've used this little printer a lot now, and I came back here to update and remove 1 star. This is a fun little printer. But it does have some issues. I've printed a lot of pictures on it now, and once you select the picture there's no way to adjust the size you want it to print on the sticker. If you want to change the size, you have to go back out of the print ready screen and re-do it. Then hit print and see what size it says. Then try again. And that's only on the "Custom" setting. If you choose "Single Photo", the picture will just come out too big, printing on multiple stickers, and you can't change it. Also, You can't tell where on the printer it's going to print. I've been printing on 2" stickers, and even if my photo is centered, it prints off-center. Also, before it starts to print, it passes the paper through, a lot-- like about 3mm. So if I line the cut teeth up with the top edge of my sticker, it will print with a big space at the top of my sticker, every time. And the bottom of the pic will be off the sticker and ruin my next sticker. And it prints inconsistently. Once in awhile it'll come out really grainy, or really dark, or with a white line down the middle. I've wasted a lot of stickers while using this. If there's not an extra sticker at the end, it won't finish printing the sticker. It will print it half-way, and then there's no way to cancel the rest, so after you re-load, it'll print the rest on the next sticker. I took this to my kid's birthday party and took a pic of each guest with my kid and printed stickers right there in front of them and put them on their grab bag gift tags. The kids thought it was awesome, but I felt bad when one girl hugged it and said she'll keep it forever, because it's only a thermal print and it won't last. If you decide to get this, I found that it fits into a Dylanto Kids camera case, that I found on Amazon.Hope this update is helpful to you.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This thing is pretty fun for a little portable thermal printer. It's easy to find stickers for it online. I can take a picture with my phone and immediately print it out with the app. The so also has some list templates that adjust to how many items are in the list .The only thing I have as problem with is that it doesn't seem like there's a way to have text printed directly in the middle of the 2"round sticker-- you have to position the paper in the right place but then when it starts to print, it moves the paper first -in, so it's hard to get it just right. Also you can't print if you have just 1 sticker; it seems like it needs to have an extra one in order to go through the printer. But it's a fun printer and the app is simple.

Yes I might be in my 50s but I'm still a kid at heart and I love this little printer, I'm going sticker crazy! I've made labels and banners and tons of stickers for scrapbooking. It's extremely easy to set up and use but understand your pictures you want for stickers will be black and white I'm adding this because a family bought one after seeing me use mine and they thought you could printer color which after they complained to me I had to school them about thermal printers. If you go into a store and see like in lawn and garden people with those grey looking boxes spitting out price labels that's a thermal printer and those labels are waterproof so bring in a place where's there's watering of plants your price won't wash off like an ink would. So with that I have used those printers when I was working in a garden center way back when and even then I was like I wonder if I could make cool stickers for scrapbooking so seeing these smaller printers and what they can do now I'm so happy and the price is a great value too. So because I have one everyone in my family wants one now lol...so these are such a great value these make great gifts!

Discovering the versatility of a small thermal printer like this one has been a game-changer for me. Initially, I never thought I'd have much use for it, but once I realized its potential for printing labels, I was hooked. While the printer doesn't come with stickers as advertised, it's compatible with labels available from various vendors, which was easily remedied. I found some labels that fit the bill perfectly, opening up a world of possibilities, especially for my daughter. My daughter's constant need for labels, whether for goody bags or gifts, used to require my assistance every step of the way. From designing them to printing on our home laser printer, it was a time-consuming process plagued by technical issues. Enter this thermal printer, and suddenly, she's empowered to handle it all on her own. With her own phone or tablet, she can design and print labels independently, freeing her—and me—from the headaches of printer malfunctions and connectivity issues. The quality of the prints speaks for itself, as evidenced by the crisp picture of my dog it produced.Initially wary of installing the XLIFE app, I was pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. From creating banners to printing websites and any picture on your phone, it does it all seamlessly—and it's free.In summary, this thermal printer not only performs admirably but also revolutionizes how we handle printing tasks. Coupled with the indispensable XLIFE app, it's a combination that's hard to beat. Whether you have kids or not, if you're looking for a reliable and versatile printer, look no further. Highly recommended.

I got this to print photos on the go in my notebooks, I really like the list maker it has on the app to make cute little lists. But the photos turn out quite grainy for my taste. I also wish the paper was thicker, think store receipt thickness.
