What is a Valve Cover Gasket?
Valve cover gasket is designed to seal the valve cover to the surface of the engine cylinder head, the valve cover gasket prevents motor oil from leaking out of the joint part.
Pay attention when replace gasket:
* Pls use genuine gasket,wipe the two joint surfaces of engine and clean valve cover with a soft brush.
*Clean the valve cover with cleaning agent, clean the contact surface between the valve cover and cylinder head, install the valve cover gasket, apply gasket maker, and screw the screws diagonally from the middle to both sides.
*Don't scar the valve cover surface when carving debris.Tighten the fixing bolts of valve cover evenly,not too tight,which might hurt your cover.

Was a bit too small. Had to slit it and use a small piece of the old one and silicone to compensate.

The way you have to put this on could result in it not staying in the groove. I think I got it tho and the leak at the ignition coils stopped so no more misfires. I would suggest a thin tiny bead of silicone to hold it in place or a hint of stretching. I think I would go ahead and buy another if I didn't already decide to replace my cover next time.

I first installed with the silicone or whatever it came with, and that did NOT hold. The car had an oil leak after, so I had to remove the gasket and clean off the silicone and try again. I ended up using super glue in certain areas of the gasket to hold better. After a few days, the leaking stopped and has not returned, so it works as intended thankfully.
