I use several, rather complex tech and photography backpacks, but this one is by far the most over-engineered bag that I've owned. In fact, I had to go over the instructions, and refer to the video showcasing the features, just to be able to set it up! In practice, I'm still leaning all the features, loops, adjustment points, etc.A few standout pros that I'd like to quickly cover:The shoulder straps are completely adjustable. And I'm not referring only to tension, but the height of the straps above the shoulders can be moved, and the chest strap can be re-positioned, too.The waist strap can be removed if desired, which is not a common thing to see.The bag comes with a padded insert that can be shaped in two sizes: large, which takes up the entire cavity of the backpack; medium, which leaves some extra space on the top.You get a bunch of different inserts/walls to build the internal structure of the insert to match your gear. There's a lot of velcro here, so some patience is required to adjust and re-adjust.The bag expands in capacity by unzipping the central zipper on the flap. The effectively gives you a capacity increase from 25L to 33L, which is impressive.I'm very happy with the quality of the bag overall, and the inclusion of both hip pockets and chest pockets on the shoulder straps is great! But with the good, there is some bad.My biggest complaint is that the padded insert can only be accessed from the back. Compared to every other camera and tech backpack, this is highly inconvenient.Another issue I have is the design of the front. Even though it "fully opens", it really doesn't. The V-shaped opening isn't as easy to access the bag as a more traditional clamshell or open-top backpack.Weight is another concern. This backpack is heavier than my other backpacks of the same capacity, and you can drop some of that weight by not using the insert.Overall, I do still think that this is an excellent backpack that will find a lot of use both set up as a camera bag or a hiking backpack. While the unique design has a learning-curve, I am let down by the overall ease-of-access that it provides, especially for the camera gear. This could come down to me simply getting used to the form factor, which may work for someone else.At the time of this review, this backpack is listed for $269.99.

VSGO Pocket Ranger Camera Bag, Outdoor Camera Backpack Mirrorless/DSLR Camera Case for Photography, Hiking, Camping, TravelThis is a really incredible camera bag that holds a heck of a lot of lenses and body and flash And a whole mess of accessory space. The 35L bag has a reinforced metal frame , ultra cushioned back pack strap and waist straps , upper and lower support clips. Side pockets are really deep and Holds water bottles and coffee mugs securely. On both side of the straps you have two very useful accessory pouches that is great for flash cards and batteries. Hip strap also has two integrated accessories pouchesBasically the main compartment is a hard box frame. You open the compartment from the BACK which is a tad awkward and it makes sense somewhat despite the awkward opening . Mainly it prevents theft from anyone opening the bag while you're wearing it on your back..... Also helps with some water lelakage onto your gear. It includes 4 smaller walls and two larger walls so you can shape stuff out inside the main box frame to fit your gear liking. Since it's a felt material , if you have other dividers from other gear bags then you could also use those too. It has a slip pocket for laptop as well.Access from the front of bag is just a center aligned zipper. Honestly not a huge functional part. It opens up to the underside of the box. You can throw in maybe some light accessories there or maybe a hoodie. You can also possibly put a monopod there slotted thru. Seems doable but I don't use monopod.I consider this a photographer great bag only. You're not really going to fit other "hiking gear" in the bag. It's just to haul photog gear while you're on a job. With it's amazing support for back and waist , it's a really comfortable bag you can wear all day long. If you're out for a day hike, it does leave a tiny bit of space for additional day hike stuff but honestly it's a bit small if you want to use this bag for carrying bothe gear and day hike equipment.I'm really impressed with this gear bag. It's high quality In every way. Despite the awkward rear opening, I can get used to it and I like that it's going to protect my gear very well in certain countries.

I find it very comfortable as compared to anything I have ever used for hiking. I am not a photographer and only got it for that purpose. It has great water proof capabilities as it has rained on me with on and everything stayed dry. All of the adjustments make it perfect for the long hikes, such as the shoulder, chest and waist strap adjustments. There is lots of extra padding making it ideal for such long trips. This extra comfort does create some caveats, such as making it a bit heavier and bulkier, but this is a necessary evil. There are lots of different pockets and places to put your stuff. The stitching, buckles and zippers are all top notch and mostly everything is easy access. I will definitely be replacing my old bags with this one.Thank you for reading my review! 🙏

This "Pocket Ranger" camera bag from brand VSGO is something very special. I have owned quite a few brand names in camera backpack style bags in the past, and I still use many of them. But this one makes them all look underwhelming by comparison. The space, the customizability, the attention to details in stitching, mounting options, waterproofing, enclosures for both small and large items in convenient places and ways that help you navigate and work efficiently, sets the bar for all bags I may purchase in the future. Though, in the future, I may order only from VSGO now.I ordered the blue and red version of this bag in the 35L size, but is also comes in an off-white beige colour scheme, and in a smaller 25L variety. I had a really, really difficult time deciding between the two, but I could only order one, so I went with the one that I simply thought matched more of my outfits hah. I kind of wish there was a standard black version, but that is neither here nor there. This bag is ridiculously good. I think it is well worth every penny of the asking price of about $280 at the time of this review. I won't get into too many technical details, but the packing joints are amazing and remind me of the Peak Design brand in some ways, but I think these are finally superior to that brand and the way they can slide in and out of the bag through either the back or front openings, is just amazing.I don't know what else to say. This is THE bag for me, and I can only assume others will have a variety of personal opinions, but I can't see how this is not the bag for you too, particularly if you're an outdoors and/or landscape photog. There is just nothing about this bag that doesn't scream it's undying love for the art of creative visual arts and travelling wherever you need to go to ensure you not only get to your destination safely with all your gear intact, but that you do it in style, and always have the right tools packed for the job, whether it be photo gear, drones, video equipment, lighting, etc. This bag can handle all of it.5 stars. I wish I could offer a few extra.

This is a really nice camera bag with more pockets and storage than you think you will ever need. That said I always need extra storage space for my photo gear and appreciate a quality camera bag that can do multiple duties. This bag offers a very unique zipper setup that offers a very flexible method for opening and closing the bag. IT allows you to open the main compartment with the quick release of one magnetic fastener which is super convenient. It has 4 zippers on the back/outward side that allows you to open the inner bag in several configurations and it also has another zipper on the back/inside side of the bag that opens the flap on three sides allowing full and easy access to all your gear. In addition to the main compartment this bag offers several hidden and zippered compartments, multiple loops for attaching gear like tripods, monopods, etc. IT has larger pockets to hold more gear , beverage containers, cellphones, wallets and more. The waist strap is adjustable and even removable easily and there's a plastic tool to aid in reinserting the strap as necessary. It also features an adjustable carry strap system, integrated aluminum frame and breathable back panel for additional support and comfort. The camera storage compartment is adjustable in several configurations and cane be simply and quickly removed making this a large compartment backpack. I could write a novel on the abundance of features but will summarize it by saying of the dozen or more camer bags I have (or have had) this one offers more features than them all and is an extremely versatile camera bag that can be used with or without the storage system of many purposes. A very high quality bag and I would recommend it.
